About me

I'm a physician associate specializing in neurosurgery. I focus on caring for patients before, during and after surgical procedures for spine and brain conditions.

I work with adult and older adult patients navigating a wide range of neurosurgical needs and take pride in being a consistent, supportive presence throughout every step of the surgical journey, from the first consultation to recovery.

I believe that the best care starts with a real connection. I take time to get to know each patient as an individual, because understanding who you are and what matters to you helps me provide care that truly fits your life and your goals.

I grew up in San Jose, California and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. Working as a medical assistant for several years gave me a meaningful foundation in hands-on patient care before I went on to complete my physician associate training at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada.

Outside of work, I love being active and outdoors. You'll find me running and competing in road races, playing tennis, hiking with my dog and spending time with my partner, Oliver.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
