Why aren't there any ratings?

There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one of three reasons:

  1. They do not see patients.

About me

I’m a family physician who cares for patients of all ages. I love getting to know my patients, hearing their stories and working together to help them achieve their best possible health.

In addition to caring for patients, I’m the program director for the OHSU-Tuality Family Medicine Residency, where I help recruit and train future family physicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. Residency education has been a big part of my career. I spent almost twelve years at the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency in Massachusetts, including six years as associate program director. During that time, I cared for patients at a Federally Qualified Health Center and fulfilled my National Health Service Corps scholarship commitment. Later, I had the incredible opportunity to help launch the first residency program on the island of Hawaii. As program director, I was proud to see the first two classes graduate and to help the program achieve full accreditation.

Outside of work, I enjoy biking, hiking and camping. I’m also an avid reader, love exploring new foods and have a passion for traveling. I’m hoping to learn the art of gardening and am excited to explore all that Oregon has to offer with my family and our dog, Blue!

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
