About me
Laine Lum has been a dietitian since 2010, earning her Master’s in Dietetics from Bastyr University. She spent the beginning of her career at the VA Puget Sound, supporting Veterans as a Primary Care Outpatient Dietitian. She has been with OHSU since 2019 as a Clinical Dietitian Specialist, previously supporting women with changes in their nutrition at the Center for Women’s Health and has been with the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center beginning in 2024 to support patients with nutrition therapy to positively impact their diabetes.
In her spare time, Laine enjoys spending time chasing her two young boys around parks (rain or shine), experimenting in the kitchen and (most) outdoor sports.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
