About me

Dr. Wei sees patients who have a variety of heart problems, including heart valve conditions. He works closely with the heart specialists in OHSU’s structural heart program to help people who have problems with specific heart structures. These include problems with the aortic, mitral and tricuspid heart valves.

Dr. Wei has a special interest in echocardiography. He is especially interested in how microbubble contrast agents can be used in echocardiography. Microbubbles can help doctors see the structure and pumping function of the heart better. They can also show how well the smallest blood vessels in the heart are working. Dr. Wei’s research focuses on the structure of the heart and small blood vessels and how disease develops in these areas.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
