About me

Kate Felmet specializes in the care of critically ill infants and children. She completed her critical care training in 2003, and returned to Portland to join the OHSU faculty in 2015.  She has experience in interfacility transport of critically ill children and serves as the medical director for the PANDA team.   In addition to teaching medical students, residents and fellows, Kate has a special interest in teaching referring hospitals to help them provide high quality care to critically ill children while PANDA is on their way.

She spends her time off keeping her two young daughters out of trouble and sewing elaborate Halloween costumes.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
