About me

Dr. Jessica Macdougall finished her Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill, after which she worked as a certified nursing assistant at both Duke University and UNC Hospitals for two years to gain clinical experience.  She completed her Master’s in Physiology at Georgetown University followed by her medical degree and pediatrics residency at UNC Chapel Hill. She is board certified in Pediatrics and adult and pediatric Allergy and Immunology. Her main clinical and research interests include food allergies, especially patient education and therapeutics. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her family, friends, and dog, Izze.
