About me

I’m an acute care nurse practitioner specializing in neurological surgery for adults and older adults.

I provide comprehensive care before and after surgery, helping patients manage conditions such as:

  • Brain tumors
  • Seizure disorders
  • Movement disorders

I believe the best care comes from teamwork—collaborating closely with patients, their families and the entire care team to create a personalized plan that supports each person’s health and recovery.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent twelve years working in acute and critical care nursing, and I’m excited to have returned to OHSU, where I began my nursing career.

Outside of work, I enjoy coaching youth soccer, gardening, practicing and teaching kendo (Japanese fencing) and spending time with my three kids.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
