About me
I am a family practice physician who treats a range of chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
I provide a wide scope of care including annual physicals and wellness exams, well-child checks, health screenings, lifestyle counseling, vaccinations, advanced care planning, chronic disease management, treatment for acute illnesses (such as UTIs, STIs, rashes, and upper respiratory infections), women’s health (including birth control and Pap smears), and behavioral health medication management.
My approach to patient care is rooted in building long-term, trusting relationships and treating the whole person and not just their symptoms. I work collaboratively with my patients to create care plans that are both realistic and evidence-based. I enjoy the continuity of family medicine; caring for patients through all stages of life, supporting families and advocating for their well-being.
I grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana; the heart of Cajun country. I studied biology at the University of Louisiana before attending medical school in Shreveport. During my training, I worked in both urban clinics and rural outreach settings across the state. These experiences sparked a strong interest in caring for underserved communities and reinforced my commitment to making patients feel heard. I’m especially passionate about mental health, HIV management, gender-affirming care and reproductive health.
In my free time, I enjoy painting and find inspiration in Oregon’s breathtaking scenery. I also love spending time on the patio with my partner and our cat, Mozzarella, who is an avid birdwatcher.

Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
