About me
Dr. Brenna Yard specializes in treating infants and children who need to stay in the hospital because of illness or injury. She also cares for full-term and preterm babies in the nursery or the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Dr. Yard understands that having a sick or hurting child is incredibly stressful for parents and caretakers. She works to ensure that she is caring for the entire family as well as her patient. She is especially passionate about car seats and bicycle safety.
Dr. Yard grew up in the area, and recently moved back with her husband and three kids to be closer to extended family. She enjoys exploring the area with her family and finding new delights and old favorites.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
