About me
Dr. Bernie Rakszawski grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Missouri where she earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014. After working as a pediatric audiologist in St Louis for almost a decade, she joined the team at Oregon Health and Science University in 2023.
Dr. Rakszawski specializes in pediatric audiology and hearing re(habilitation). She strives to create a safe, comfortable space for patients and families while utilizing an evidenced-based, whole-person approach. She has extensive experience fitting cochlear implants, hearing aids, bone conduction hearing systems, and assistive listening devices (ALDs) along with specializing in treatment options for people with single-sided deafness. Her research interests include optimizing outcomes for hearing device users and diagnosis and treatment of single-sided deafness.
In her free time, Dr. Rakszawski, along with her husband and dog, explore outdoor activities in the Pacific Northwest.
