About me

Dr. Robert McLafferty is a vascular surgeon and professor of surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery in the OHSU School of Medicine. He is also the medical director of the OHSU Wound and Hyperbaric Center.

He also served as chief of surgery for the Portland VA Medical Center. He is past president of the American Venous Forum, the Vascular Disease Foundation and the Society of Clinical Vascular Surgery.

Dr. McLafferty earned his M.D. degree from the University of Vermont. He completed his residency in general surgery and fellowships in vascular surgery research and vascular surgery at OHSU.
