About me

Dr. Benson attended Kalamazoo College for his undergraduate education. He was a high school teacher in Chicago Public Schools for 2 years prior to going to medical school. He attended medical school at Loyola University and completed residency and two fellowships at the University of Utah. Interests lie in resident education, perioperative echocardiography, liver transplant anesthesia, and OB anesthesia. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, skiing, and camping.
