About me

Dr. Jake Hodge is a Musculoskeletal Radiologist, with interests in sports imaging, rheumatology, musculoskeletal oncology, and image-guided procedures.

Born and raised in Minnesota, he completed college and medical school at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.  Returning to his hometown, he completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency and Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.  In the first part of his career,  Dr. Hodge contributed his expertise to a large subspecialized private practice in the upper Midwest,  providing musculoskeletal imaging and procedures to multiple orthopedic groups and healthcare systems.  He joined the department of diagnostic radiology at  OHSU in early 2024.

Dr. Hodge is passionate about education, practice workflow, and the new frontiers of artificial intelligence.  Although a child of the midwest, Oregon has held a special place in his heart for years, and rooting himself in the Pacific Northwest is a dream come true.  He cannot think of a better setting for his professional endeavors than the natural beauty of Oregon and the rich cultural opportunities in the Portland area.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
