Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Dr. Daniel Young is a member of the Abdominal and Cardiothoracic Imaging sections in the OHSU Department of Radiology. He obtained his medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Young completed his radiology residency at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine (MIR) with a mini-fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging. He also completed his Advanced Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at MIR.
In addition to clinical radiology, Dr. Young has an interest in healthcare economics, advocacy, and education. He is an active member of the American College of Radiology currently serving on the Economics Committee on Body Imaging and has previously served as a member of the American Board of Radiology’s Initial Certification Advisory Committee.
Dr. Young is originally from neighboring California having grown up in the SF Bay Area. He is excited to return to the West Coast and join the faculty at OHSU.
