About me
Dr. Abdelli is an emergency psychiatrist at Unity Center for Behavioral Health, where he provides crisis stabilization and acute psychiatric care.
He completed his medical education at Oregon Health & Science University in 2018, followed by adult psychiatry residency training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Following residency, Dr. Abdelli practiced across the Midwest, holding an academic appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He also worked as an inpatient staff psychiatrist in Kansas City. As a native to Oregon, Dr. Abdelli returned to join the OHSU faculty in 2025.
Dr. Abdelli’s background as a first-generation Tunisian American informs his commitment to cross-cultural psychiatry. While he holds a specific interest in the mental health needs of Muslim communities, he applies a framework of cultural humility to ensure high-quality, individualized care for patients of all identities.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
