Bicycle Facilities
Valet
Go By Bike, an OHSU and Tram partner, offers fast, free and secure bike valet to the public. They're located at the Portland Aerial Tram's South Waterfront terminal, just a five minute tram ride to Marquam Hill.
Open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Closed on holidays OHSU observes.
Self-parking
OHSU has five badge-access bike facilities. Request a permit here (log in required). U-lock or similar lock required.
Marquam Hill
Marquam Hill bike facilities are wait listed. Contact commute@ohsu.edu or see South Waterfont alternatives below.
People who travel to Marquam Hill for work or education, and would prefer to have direct access to showers, lockers and towel service, may request access to Robertson Life Sciences Building or Rood Family Pavilion. Note that the Tram's hours are 5:30am to 9:30pm weekdays and 9am to 5pm Saturdays (closed on OHSU holidays and scheduled maintenance).
South Waterfront
- Knight Cancer Research Center: Tenant only. Includes locker room, showers, and towel service.
- Robertson Life Sciences Building: Includes locker room, showers, and towel service.
- Rood Family Pavilion: Includes locker room, showers, and towel service.
South Waterfront facilities include showers, locker rooms and towel service.
Repair and tire pumps
In addition to valet, Go By Bike also offers professional repair and tune ups for a fee. Air and friendly advice is free. Please contact them for rates.

Racks and helmets
Sheltered bike racks are located in every parking garage. To maintain OHSU's accessibility to all, bikes must never be locked to hand rails or other undesignated areas that might impede access.
A variety of affordable bicycle helmets for adults and children are sold at the Tom Sargent Safety Center in the 1st floor lobby of Doernbecher.
