Faculty Development Fridays is pleased to welcome Jessica Reid, M.D., M.C.R., Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Alyssa Colwill, M.D., M.C.R., Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, who will be giving a presentation titled, Professionalism and Reproductive Justice: Understanding the legal framework surrounding reproductive healthcare and our unconscious bias.

This talk will begin with an overview of the current legality nationally and in Oregon of reproductive healthcare including abortion, contraception, gender-affirming care, minor consent, and conscientious objection. Next, they will explore various scenarios and learn to identify our unconscious bias in order to provide professional, respectful, and patient-centered care. Finally, they will provide resources for further learning and self-reflection.
