Daniel Furlong, M.D., M.B.A.

Biography

Dr. Daniel Furlong is a general urologist who provides medical and surgical care for adults.

He sees patients for:

He strives to use the latest evidence-based techniques, treatments and technology.

During his surgery residency, he trained with leaders in robotic, laparoscopic, endoscopic and open urologic surgery. During his fellowship, he specialized in:

  • Complex voiding dysfunction
  • Female pelvic medicine
  • Neurourology
  • Urologic reconstruction

He felt called to urology after his father passed away from bladder cancer. This experience made him passionate about focusing on patients’ needs and quality of life as well as their diagnoses.

His dual M.D./M.B.A. degrees give him a deep understanding of medicine and business to advance the OHSU-Adventist Health Portland partnership to provide efficient and effective urology care to the Pacific Northwest.

Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his wife (who grew up in Portland) and son, and playing with their Goldendoodle. He enjoys golf, hiking and skiing.
