Biography

Dr. Christopher Koprowski is a general urologist. He treats adults medically and surgically for benign and malignant urologic conditions.

He has a special interest in:

During his medical residency, he trained under top experts in:

  • Open and minimally invasive surgery
  • Men’s health
  • Prosthetics
  • Reconstruction
  • Endourology

After his surgical training, he practiced as the only urologist in a rural practice in Illinois before moving to Portland.

He was born and raised just outside Princeton, New Jersey. He graduated summa cum laude as a Presidential Scholar from Rutgers University, where he:

  • Focused on French translation, literature and philosophy.
  • Wrote about cross-fertilization between sciences and humanities, believing that the best doctors and scientists should also study and be proficient in non-scientific fields.

In medical school he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society, which supports the human connection in health care.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, sports and studying global finance.
