About me

Dr. Christopher Koprowski is a general urologist. He treats adults medically and surgically for benign and malignant urologic conditions.

He has a special interest in:

After his surgical training, he practiced as the only urologist in a rural practice in Illinois before moving to Portland.

He was born and raised just outside Princeton, New Jersey. He graduated summa cum laude as a Presidential Scholar from Rutgers University, where he:

  • Focused on French translation, literature and philosophy.
  • Wrote about cross-fertilization between sciences and humanities, believing that the best doctors and scientists should also study and be proficient in non-scientific fields.

In medical school he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society, which supports the human connection in health care.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, sports and studying global finance.

  5. I was sorry when my urologist of many years retired. I went to another one at the Oregon Clinic and it was a terrible experience. Dr Koprowski was the total converse. Personable, a good listener and clear and effective communicator on options. I will definitely be returning. Courteous and helpful staff as well.

  7. Dr. Koprowski listened attentively to all of my concerns, everything was explained thoroughly in a manner I understood and a plan was made together. I am very confident in Dr. Koprowski's ability and knowledge as a specialist.

  9. This was just a consultant on upcoming surgery. There was no interaction with anyone but the DR. He answered all my questions and explained surgery. Appt lasted 10 minutes.
