Join us for this special Thursday session of our FDF series.
The PRIMER (Primary Care Latino Equity Research) Center, a research and training hub in the Department of Family Medicine led by Drs. Miguel Marino and John Heintzman, is focused on reducing healthcare disparities in Latino communities through primary care. It conducts studies on prevention, diagnosis, and chronic disease management, with attention to advance methods to analyze health data by nativity and subgroup, helping improve care. Each year, it hosts a Latino Health Equity Summit to share findings and strengthen community and policy partnerships.
