Omar F. Nazir, M.D.
- Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, School of Medicine
Biography
I’m an orthopedic surgeon specializing in upper extremity and hand care. I help patients with a wide range of conditions involving the muscles, bones, nerves and joints of the arm, wrist, hand and elbow.
After earning my medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University, I completed my orthopedic surgery residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. I went on to complete fellowship training in hand surgery, which included principles from both orthopedics and plastic surgery, giving me a broad perspective on treating complex upper extremity conditions. I am board-certified in orthopedic surgery and hold a subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand.
