Biography

Hyunjee Kim is a health economist in the Center for Health Systems Effectiveness. Dr. Kim earned her Ph.D. at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in economics and social work. Dr. Kim’s research interests include three areas:

— Medicare/Medicaid payment reform
— Delivery and quality of Medicaid-paid long-term services & supports
— Racial/ethnic disparities in healthcare

Dr. Kim’s research has been published in the leading clinical, health services, policy, economics and specialty journals. Dr. Kim has also obtained extramural funding as a principal investigator, including a New Investigator Award from the Oregon Medical Research Foundation, R01 award from NIMHD, R01 award from NIA, and R01 award from AHRQ.
