Biography
I am a doctor specializing in caring for patients with liver disease through OHSU’s Digestive Health Services.
I earned my medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed my residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. I then pursued my fellowship training in gastroenterology here at OHSU through the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. I am board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
In addition to caring for patients, I am actively involved in research through OHSU’s research programs to improve how we prevent, diagnose and treat liver disease. My work has included studying hepatitis C, acute liver failure and complications related to liver disease such as variceal bleeding. I have also led several clinical studies focused on improving screening, prevention and treatment approaches for patients with liver conditions, often connected with opportunities in clinical trials at OHSU.
