Biography
Alyssa is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in the treatment of patients with gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar and vaginal cancers. She sees patients on active chemotherapy and other systemic therapies, managing symptoms and side effects, providing post-operative care and supporting survivorship and cancer surveillance. She also sees patients with hereditary mutations that may increase their risk for a gynecologic malignancy.
Alyssa's approach to patient care is focused on evidence-based interventions and ethical decision-making. She is passionate about women's health and approaches care from a holistic perspective. She is a strong patient advocate, ensuring each patient feels heard and their concerns are addressed thoroughly and appropriately.
Alyssa relocated back to the Pacific Northwest after spending eight years in the San Francisco Bay Area. There, her work included oncology clinical research involving PARP inhibitors and other experimental therapeutics. She also earned her Master's Degree in Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, spending time on the coast, appreciating the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and savoring the small joys of life with her husband and two young sons.
