3rd Annual Forum on Aging in Rural Oregon

May 1-3, 2019
Chinook Winds Casino Resort, Lincoln City

The Oregon Office of Rural Health believes that rural Oregon communities have the potential to be ideal places to age. This event provides a forum where people can talk about their experiences, learn from one another, and bring forth new ideas.

At Chinook Winds Casino Resort

Chinook Winds Casino and Convention Center has been operated by the Confederated Tribes of Siletz since 1995. Most, but not all, of the 227 rooms are accessible via elevator. However, the hotel has buildings with rooms that are only accessible via stairs.  If you would rather not climb stairs, we recommend asking about the Junior Suites building. The lodging team can be reached at (877) 423-2241.

Room rates at Chinook Winds begin at $64 per night, and are bookable here using the Group Code: 043019OHSU. You must book by April 1, 2019, to get the group rate. While most of the rooms in our Chinook Winds block are nonsmoking, please make sure to specify "nonsmoking" and if you are extremely sensitive to smoke.  Lincoln City has many other lodging options.
