Rural Health Coordinating Council
The Rural Health Coordinating Council (RHCC) was established by the Oregon legislature in 1979 at the same time the Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) was created. Its purpose has historically been to advise ORH in carrying out its statutory duties. Although this advice is not binding, the RHCC has always been considered a decisive and valuable source of information for ORH.
2026 RHCC Meetings
RHCC meetings are held on the third Friday of every month from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. PT. Agendas are posted several days prior to each meeting and are in draft form until approved by the RHCC at that meeting. Meeting minutes are posted when they are distributed to the RHCC members for review and are in draft form until approved by the RHCC at the following meeting. The public is welcome to attend RHCC meetings and can request to provide public comment via the corresponding link below.
