Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine

Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship

Program Overview

OHSU Interventional Pulmonary (IP) Fellowship is designed to provide fellows with in-depth training within a high-volume referral center. OHSU is the only academic medical center in the state of Oregon and is a regional referral center offering a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within a well-established multidisciplinary approach to care.

Our program strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care to medically complex patients in a supportive and respectful environment. In addition to developing strong procedural skills, OHSU’s Interventional Pulmonary fellows work as part of a multidisciplinary team including thoracic surgery, otolaryngology, radiation and medical oncology, and others to provide comprehensive care for patients with cancer and other complex medical conditions. Fellows will graduate with expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, scholarly and educational acumen, and a foundation for adapting practice as technologies change and develop. OHSU’s IP fellowship program is tailored to each fellow’s learning style and career goals, ensuring graduates are prepared to enter any practice environment. As the first Interventional Pulmonary fellowship training program in the Pacific Northwest, we strive to serve as a model for programs across the region and the country through compassion, integrity, inclusion, respect, collaboration, and adaptability.
