Biography
I am a surgeon with a focus on thoracic surgery, or chest surgery. I treat patients who need care for:
- Lung cancer and other lung and chest abnormalities
- Mesothelioma
- Sarcoma
My clinical and research interests include:
- Managing non-small cell lung cancer with limited spread
- Use of chemotherapy before surgery in advanced lung cancer
- Lung cancer screening
- Atrial fibrillation (a type of heart arrythmia) that can develop after lung surgery
- New and emerging treatments for malignant pleural mesothelioma
- Applying robotic surgery in complex lung disease
