Hi, I’m Rebecca. I’m in the 3-year BSN program in Portland, class of 2027. I’ve been a Patient Safety Attendant and a CNA on an acute care unit, and I recently started work as an ICU tech. As a neurodivergent, self-identified academic late bloomer, a big part of my school journey has been learning how I learn. I have found that I love to use humor, illustration, and teach-back to help make important concepts stick. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to support other students with their own individual learning process. My favorite subject by far is pathophysiology, and I am particularly obsessed with all things cardiovascular.

Outside of school, when I’m not biking around the city or walking my dog, you’ll probably find me re-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer (again). I am a great big nerd and my taste in podcasts is about a 50/50 split between science and medicine and 90s/00s media analysis.
