Proleta Datta, M.D., Ph.D.
- Assistant Professor of Neurology, School of Medicine
Biography
As a board-certified neurologist, I have a special interest in epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a condition that causes seizures. I work with patients whose seizures don’t respond to medication alone. I help these patients consider other options for seizure control. One of my research goals is to find ways to improve access to epilepsy care.
At home, I enjoy baking, reading science fiction and traveling with my family.
