Biography
As a board-certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation, I specialize in conservative spine care, sports injuries, and electrodiagnostic testing (EMG).
I earned my medical degree from OHSU in 1992 and completed my residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. I then pursued an advanced fellowship in neurophysiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where I developed specialized expertise in electrodiagnostic medicine. This training allows me to accurately diagnose complex nerve and muscle conditions, which is essential for developing effective treatment plans.
I'm board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and serve as a Professor of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at OHSU's School of Medicine. At the OHSU Orthopaedics Clinic in South Waterfront, I'm committed to helping you achieve optimal recovery through evidence-based, patient-centered care.
