Lynne Shinto, N.D., M.P.H.
- Professor of Neurology, School of Medicine
Biography
I specialize in integrative medicine, with a particular focus on neurology and women's health. This means I combine the best of naturopathic medicine with conventional treatments to create a more complete, whole-person approach to care.
My research focuses on complementary, alternative and integrative medicine — exploring how natural approaches can be studied rigorously and integrated meaningfully into mainstream health care. I completed my naturopathic doctorate at Bastyr University, earned a Master of Public Health from OHSU, and completed a fellowship in complementary and alternative medicine clinical research here at OHSU as well.
I'm a Professor of Neurology in the OHSU School of Medicine and a member of the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine.
