Biography

Jordan Anderson, D.O., is from Chicago. He worked as a phlebotomist while earning his bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Illinois. He went to medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation, he completed his medical internship at The Wright Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he received the award for Intern of the Year. He then moved on to Brown University for a dual residency in Neurology and Psychiatry. During his training, he developed an interest in Functional Neurological Disorders, aka Conversion Disorder. He has since published articles on the topic and has plans to contribute research to this field in the near future while incorporating it as a clinical focus. Dr. Anderson will be working at the Unity Center for Behavioral Health where he will apply both major aspects of his training by working simultaneously as an inpatient psychiatry attending and as a neurology consultant for psychiatric inpatients.
