Jessie Pavlinac, M.S., R.D., C.S.R., L.D., FAND, FNKF
Biography
Jessie is an adjunct instructor in OHSU’s Graduate Programs in Human Nutrition. Before joining the faculty, she worked at OHSU for more than 40 years as the clinical nutrition manager and renal and transplant dietitian.
She earned a B.S. in Zoology from Oregon State University, an M.S. in nutrition science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an M.S. in health care management from OHSU.
Jessie remains active in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics where she has held several leadership roles including national president. She serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Renal Nutrition, Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutrition Care Manual and eatrightPREP.
She also serves as an accreditation site visitor for the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Jessie chairs the Oregon Board of Licensed Dietitians. She is a board-certified specialist in renal nutrition and a fellow of both the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the National Kidney Foundation.
