Biography

Isaac Bailey, M.S. joined OHSU in July 2019 as a diagnostic imaging physicist and instructor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.  Before returning to OHSU where Isaac received his master’s degree from the Oregon Medical Physics program, he completed his residency training at Upstate Medical Physics, located in Victor, NY.  During his graduate studies, he had a focus in diagnostic imaging physics and subsequently completed his master’s thesis on the impacts of tube current and tube potential in Computed Tomography and the resulting influences on image quality and dose indices.  His current interests include optimizing the quality of diagnostic imaging and practices, to ensure patients receive the maximum benefit for any imaging procedure which they must undergo.
