Heather Macdonald, BSN, RN, AMB-BC (she/her)

Biography

I am a Registered Nurse and Nurse Coordinator for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, where our team helps patients recover and thrive after heart disease, cardiac procedures and surgery. My work centers on comprehensive care planning, with a focus on nutrition, physical activity, medication adherence, smoking cessation, stress management, and overall wellbeing.

I am passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their health. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing someone gain confidence, reach their goals, and discover a sustainable path toward better health and quality of life.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and adult children. Favorite pastimes include gardening, fly fishing, biking and local travel.
