Biography
Dr. Cheryl Claunch is an oncologist and assistant professor of radiation medicine at OHSU. She provides treatments such as external beam radiation therapy and high-dose rate brachytherapy.
Dr. Claunch completed her medical and doctoral degrees at OHSU before completing her residency in radiation oncology at Baylor College of Medicine. She also received specialized fellowship training in brachytherapy, a precise form of internal radiation often used in gynecologic cancers. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Claunch is active in cancer research and education. Her most recent work has focused on survival prediction and risk stratification in gynecologic cancers.
Overall, Dr. Claunch strives to ensure every patient feels informed, supported, and empowered throughout their cancer journey.
