Angela Sklenka, M.H.R., is OHSU’s chief people officer.  She is also an executive vice president and part of OHSU’s senior leadership team.

Sklenka joined OHSU in 2025 from the University of South Florida, where she served as senior vice president, chief administrative officer and chief Human Resources officer for both USF and USF Academic Health Medical College.

In that role, she oversaw capacity, human resources, information technology, facilities, construction, planning and administrative strategies. With more than 20 years of experience in human resources in higher education, she has led transformational efforts in change management, operational efficiency, cultural renovation and labor relations.

Sklenka also brings deep expertise in labor negotiations. She has built collaborative union-management partnerships across complex environments in academic health systems and other organizations. She has consistently demonstrated a leadership style that inspires people, improves processes and elevates organizational culture.
