Biography
I’m an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries of the knee, hip and shoulder.
I grew up in San Francisco and earned my medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. I completed my orthopedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and went on to fellowship training in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where I had the opportunity to care for professional and collegiate athletes. I also pursued additional training in hip arthroscopy before joining the faculty at OHSU. I am board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
I also enjoy teaching the next generation of orthopedic surgeons and serve as director of arthroscopic simulation training for OHSU residents. I am proud to be a team physician for local athletes in our community.
