Wrinkles, sagging skin and sun damage

A soothing row of lit candles next to a plant

Our most common complaints from patients involve wrinkles, skin laxity (sagging), texture and sun damage. There are many treatments available for these conditions that range from procedures that do not require any down time to options that may require more planning. During your consultation, your provider will review the options that will provide you the best solution to achieve your goals. Below are some solutions that may be used alone or in combination to help you achieve the results you want.

Botox® and Dysport®

Botox® and Dysport® are prescription injections that can be very effective for isolated wrinkles such as those on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and adjacent to the eyes (crow's feet). Although temporary, the response lasts three to six months and most people can go back to work on the same day or the next day.

Filler substances

Restylane®, Radiesse®, Juvederm® and Sculptra® are injectable dermal fillers that can restore youthful fullness to your face, lips, and contours, or soften facial creases and wrinkles. Although they can't help with excess sagging skin, these soft tissue fillers can add more volume and provide immediate results. While these treatments aren't permanent, and must be repeated and maintained, there are options that can last up to two years.

Lasers

There are multiple cosmetic solutions lasers can provide, including smoothing and lifting, minimizing pigment and reducing scars. However, not all lasers can treat all conditions so today's lasers are becoming more specialized. Our extensive collection of more than a dozen state-of-the-art lasers assures you will be provided with a solution that is not only the most advanced, but is also the treatment option that is right for you. To treat wrinkles, sagging skin or sun damage, we commonly use the Fraxel Dual Laser, Sciton BBL (broadband light/intense pulsed light), the UltraPulse Fractional C02 Laser, or the Luctronic INFINI RF Laser.
