Smartphone app for diabetes: OHSU-led trial set to begin
The DailyDose app uses artificial intelligence to monitor blood sugar and guide patients. It could give people who can’t afford an expensive device a new way to manage diabetes.
Medication protects hearing for kids in cancer treatment
The FDA approves a medication to lower risk of hearing damage in children getting a chemotherapy drug called cisplatin. Research on the treatment began at OHSU.
OHSU creates two new roles with focus on health equity
