Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery Course

SFN 2016 Photo

OHSU has been at the forefront of resident and fellow education in the field of functional neurosurgery for a number of years. In 2016, the OHSU Brain Institute successfully launched the inaugural Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (SFN) course. This intensive didactics and hands-on training course was designed to provide trainees in the fields of neurosurgery and neurology with a greater knowledge base, as well as opportunities to network with fellow neurosurgeons and neurologists, national leaders in the sub-specialty, and industry supporters. Given the breadth and depth of practice and expertise at OHSU in the field of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, we are ideally suited to organize such a course.

Over the past 9 years, we have been able to expand our curriculum, faculty roster, and number of available spots for learners and we look forward to continued expansion of this course.

Registration for the 2024 SFN course is now closed.
