Over this past academic year a group of graduate engineering students have been working directly with Drs. Sheridan and Weitzel from IDEA-EM to develop a novel medical device for otic foreign body removal. This project has taken an interative approach through multiple phases of testing to develop final prototypes to aid in the removal of foreign bodies that are in the ear of adults and children. Due to Covid-19 the presentation has been moved to virtual on 4/30/2020.
