Academic RVU webinar with AAMC
Drs. Ma, Hedges and Newgard joined the Association of American Medical Colleges for a webinar with the GBA Emerging Issues Committee, where they detailed the development of a robust incentive program to reward academic productivity within academic departments of medicine.
The webinar was well-received and attended by about 145 participants. Members of the Association of American Medical Colleges can view a recording of the webinar on the AAMC wesite.
The study, "The Academic RVU: Ten Years Developing a Metric for and Financially Incenting Academic Productivity at Oregon Health & Science University," was published in Academic Medicine earlier this year.
