    He is the best!

  • May 10, 2019

    It was a good experience

  • May 09, 2019

Dr. Pommier left every opportunity for me to heal without having to go to extreme measures. At the point when he took time at my appointment, to take a step forward, he actually enhanced my healing ability. He did believe in my ability to heal without doing the procedure and I really respect the opportunity to not have to go through new procedures until it was absolutely necessary. Dr. Pommier did find that it was necessary, after giving me weeks and weeks of opportunity to prove otherwise, and took the correct measures, I believe. Thank you for your time.

Dr. Pommier is probably my very best friend on the whole planet. For the last 17 years he's watched over my case. He's watched over me. He's held my hand. He's talked me down when I've been upset. He's been my best bud. I would recommend him to anybody who has carcenoid cancer would recommend him to anybody anytime anywhere.

  • May 03, 2019

this is my first experience with OHSU and I'm pleased to say that is was a very good one. From checking in to meeting with the surgeon everything went very smoothly, everyone was professional and cordial. Dr. Pommier did aan excellent job of explaining what was going on based on the limited information he had on hand. When I left, I wasn't as stressed. I'm hopeful that the necessary surgery as well as my hospital stay continues this experience especially when I've not had any type of overnight surgery nor have I spent any overnight time in any hospital.

Thank you for asking for my experience at your wonderful hospital. We were greeted in the lobby by receptionists and one of them took the time to show us exactly where to go.At the registration desk the gentle man was polite and informative and asked to validate our parking ticket. When we were taken to the examination room everyone was polite and professional. We were greeted by Eric and Lauren in the examination room and they introduced themselves and there titles at the hospital. They asked pertinent questions about my condition and my experiences concerning the cancer. They explained that they had some information but wanted to here my story. They then said Dr, Pommier would be in shortly. He was there after about 5 min with Lauren. He was friendly and engaging and we felt at ease with him. He examined me and Lauren took notes. He explained his understanding of my condition and that he and Dr. Kieth Goldstein would work together. He answered all my questions and I feel confident in his care and look forward to his help in treatment of my cancer and tumor. Thank you all so very much for giving me hope.

I was very impressed with Dr. Pommier and I thought he was very supportive and encouraging and he was very comforting and I felt like he was very sincere and cared about my concerns, anxiety and just issues I was worried about. I left feeling also very hopeful that...and very, very glad that I'd made the decision to not keep my care local, which I was being guilted into up in Longview up at Peace Health. I'm very glad that I made the decision to get care*

He is probably one of the best providers I've ever had and I've had a lot of different things happen all during my life. I'm 67 years old or 68 and it's been, I don't know is it now 4 years. • Mar 27, 2019

Both my husband and I are patients of Dr. Pommier. Although I had a very long wait to see him for my appointment on March 25, he was thorough with my exam and answered all my questions.

  • Mar 26, 2019

Very long wait (>1.5 hour). My appointment was for 10.30 am but I saw doctor after 12 pm. Doctor had spent <10 minutes with me, he was very nice and cheerful BUT didn't answer any of my questions (he just left the room before I had a chance to ask anything). And that's not something you'd expect when you were diagnosed with cancer.

  • Mar 21, 2019

Well, I believe that Dr. Pommier is extremely intelligent extremely gifted extremely skilled. He's been wonderful to me. He literally saved my life. He is always listens carefully no matter how busy he is to things that I am concerned about and I just think OHSU is so lucky to have such a marvelous person. However, you have many but he's he's just superior as a human being and very skilled in what he does. So I can't say enough nice things about him. I just couldn't. He's just fabulous in every way.

His bed side manner is phenomenal. He makes you feel assured of his quality of care, and keeps the fear factor down to a minimum, and with the difficulty of cancer et cetera, it's fabulous to have a doctor of his nature taking care of me. I would recommend him to anyone and I'm always happy to see him and be in his care.

Yes, this is the only specialist for neuro endocrine cancer in my area and I have been seeing him for a number of years. There's always a very long wait and he only spend just a couple of quick minutes with me when I come in. He pretty much dismisses all the symptoms and other things that I come to speak with him about and I've had to supplement my care with other specialists in Colorado and in Iowa in order to get the proper scans and the proper treatment for my normal neuro endocrine cancer.

  • Mar 03, 2019

    He is a good doctor.

  • Mar 01, 2019

He was funny. Very knowledgeable about my problem. Very confident that he could fix my problem.
