About me
Irene Ronquillo is a registered nurse in the Department of Dermatology, where she specializes in both cosmetic and medical laser treatments to address a wide range of skin conditions. She is passionate about providing inclusive, patient-centered care and enjoys working in a collaborative environment that fosters continuous learning and clinical excellence.
Irene began her dermatology nursing career in 2016 and has since gained extensive experience in general dermatology, laser and cosmetic treatments, and surgical dermatology, including support for Mohs micrographic surgery.
Irene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and has a background in marketing. After moving to the US, she discovered her passion for nursing while working as a certified nurse assistant, which inspired her to earn her Licensed Practical Nurse diploma from Sumner College in 2014. She went on to complete her Associate Degree in Nursing at Lower Columbia College in 2024 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Oregon Health & Science University.
Irene is a member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association and and has previously served as president of the Northwest Oregon Dermatology Nurses Association.
