Dr. Varun Chandran is a radiology fellow serving all patients at OHSU. 

Originally born in Dallas, Texas, Varun was raised in Bangalore, India. He later returned to the United States to pursue his undergraduate education, earning a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Following college, Varun attended New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, where he received his M.D. He then remained in New York City to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Mount Sinai West. Most recently, Varun moved to Portland to pursue fellowship training in abdominal and pelvic imaging at OHSU and to experience the Pacific Northwest. 

Outside of medicine, Varun enjoys staying active through CrossFit, hiking, and skiing, and spending time with his wife—often helping her bake. He is also an avid soccer fan and support Manchester United in the English Premier League.
