Tiantian White, M.D.

Biography

Dr. Tiantian White is a family physician and current preventive medicine resident at OHSU. She chose family medicine because it allows her to meet patients and communities where they are and to build long, meaningful, and empowering relationships at every stage of life. She is excited to provide the full range of primary care cand thankful to all current and future patients for choosing to share their journeys with her. Her clinical and academic interests include rural medicine, maternal and child health, chronic disease management, and health system reform. She is excited to embark on her preventive medicine training to delve deeper into addressing upstream and structural barriers to better health at the population level, especially for historically underserved communities in the U.S. and abroad.

Dr. White grew up in rural western China but spent her formative years in Singapore and Boston. While completing her undergraduate study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), she developed a passion for public service and working with underserved communities. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at home with her rescue cat Murphy, exploring the great nature and food scene in and around Portland with friends, and cooking.
