Dr. Sweta Mathur is a Dental Public Health faculty member at OHSU School of Dentistry. Her work focuses on improving oral health and reducing health disparities through prevention, research, community engagement, and innovative approaches to health care delivery. She has a Ph.D. in Dental Public Health and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Glasgow, and completed Dental Public Health residency training at Case Western Reserve University.

Her research interests include oral health prevention, public health interventions, health equity, and integrating oral health into broader health care settings. She is particularly interested in developing practical, evidence-based approaches that improve access to preventive care and support healthier communities.
